Shane Williamson has 23 years of experience in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) industries. He spent 8 years at Microsoft, during which he was awarded Microsoft Australia Employee of the Year in 1995. He has also had time with Hutchison 3G Australia "3" as Partner Marketing Manager where he founded the Developers on 3 and Solutions on 3 marketing programmes and launched the multi award winning Real Estate application LOC3.
Shane was the National Product Manager for Technology Solutions at Alphawest Services (an Optus Singtel company) and drove the go to market strategy for ICT converged solutions.
Active in industry development, Shane is a committee member of both the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) and Mobile Content Industry Development Group (MCIDG). Additionally he is the co-founder of the Sydney chapter of Mobile Monday, a global community of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influentials that promotes business development and cooperation through networking.
